In bizarre sequence of events, Meanwood has gained another fan…not unusual eh? Well this fan is Alan Fletcher, the actor who plays Karl Kennedy in Neighbours. He seems to have a soft spot for Meanwood after stumbling across this site. Alan Fletcher sent a good luck message to the team via e-mail, which reads:"To Meanwood, Nothing is impossible! If I can start a Rock-n-Roll career at 48 years of age you guys can win every match! Go Meanwood Alan Fletcher (Dr K)" The Meanwood team is said to be "delighted" by this message and wishes Alan the best of luck for the future. Alan Fletcher seems to be suggesting that nothing is impossible with his message of good luck and that Meanwood can win ALL of their remaining 9 games and still gain promotion. Perhaps an ambitious aim but Meanwood will try to do it all the same and will be boosted by their new supporter. Meanwood are getting more fans by the minute, long may it continue! Remember what Alan says "NOTHING is impossible!" Very good advice...with advice like that he should become a doctor...actually, he already plays one in Neighbours. |
