Drunken Meanwood Fail to Show
Meanwood have disgracefully pulled out of tonight's match against Real St Michael without even giving their opponents any notice. The majority of the team is currently in a bar in Manchester engaging in some drunkenly behaviour. Even if the team did get back in time it is thought that they would be too drunk for the referee to allow them to play.

Two players who choose not to take part in this Manchester pub-crawl are Anthony Mckieth and Daniel Gaunt. Both were getting ready to go to Goals when they heard the news and both are rumoured to be "irritated" with their team mates actions. However, players taking part in this disorderly behaviour are refusing to apologise to their fans and team mates for not turning up, Woody is quoted as saying "We'll lose anyway and it's more fun getting pissed".

Woody- Alcho Today's encounter would have been the first time these two teams have met. Although, Real St Michael have shared the same pitch with Meanwood while warming up on several occasions. However, they are happy to take a 10-0 walkover win in order to maintain their title challenge. It is thought that Real St Michael feel let down and are looking for a friendly match. Goals have refused to comment on Meanwood's behaviour but it thought that they are extremely angry with the team and have issued them with the standard £35 fine for not turning up. If Meanwood fail to pay the fine before their next match then they will consequently get kicked out of the league.

Due to this weeks walkover loss, Meanwood are still without their first win and have only picked up one point from a possible twelve. Next up is a stern test against Lawnswood Arms who are currently undefeated. Will Meanwood be able to pull off a shock result or will the result follow the formbook? Will Meanwood even turn up?
