As the new season comes closer to starting, we thought we'd look at everybody's chances of winning the league and try to predict where they will finish.
 FC/DCPerhaps the weakest team in the division. FC/DC have now had a few seasons under their belt and now must be the time for them to produce. They are weak defensively and last season conceded 118 goals, an average of almost 8 and half per game. They also scored the least, scoring only 54 goals and without the walkovers they received they would have had an average of scoring about three goals per game. Last time they faced Meanwood, they were ripped apart and lost 14-4. However, they could pose a threat, as they will be looking for revenge. Chances of winning the league: 100/1 Grampa's 8 my Hampster A fairly good team that lack consistency. They can be dangerous going forward and fairly solid defensively but can be frustrated quite easily. They are experienced as they have also had a few seasons under their belt and did improve on their position last season when they finished second from bottom rather than bottom. Could be a big season for them as they have the potential to finish higher. However, Grampa's 8 my Hampster were completely ripped apart by Meanwood and conceded a whopping 17 goals against them. Grampa's 8 my Hampster are another team that could be looking for revenge. Chances of winning the league: 50/1 Inter Mi Nan A fairly average team that can pose a threat on their day. They had a fairly good goal scoring record but unfortunately leaked goals last season and must get their defence sorted if they are going to challenge for promotion. Meanwood recorded their first win against this team. This team has not experienced a Meanwood in full swing and will be expecting a win against them. However, if Meanwood can produce like they have been recently they might be in for a shock. Chances of winning the league: 25/1 Kelly's Heroes Kelly's Heroes are former runners up of this league but got relegated straight back. Kelly's Heroes generally have a habit of conceding few but lack goals. A defensive team that is a bit of an unknown quantity to Meanwood. However, as former runners up they will be seeking to win this division next season. Chances of winning the league: 5/3 Omar Superstars Perhaps the most skilful team in this division. They are capable of beating everyone and finished last season very strongly. They are extremely strong going forward and can score a mass of goals. They are also very difficult to break down, which surely makes them championship material. Last time Meanwood faced them, they were hammered and Meanwood will need to rethink their strategy towards them if they want to win. Chances of winning the league: 3/5  Paul Redfern Another team that is a bit of an unknown quantity to Meanwood. Surely a change in team name is needed? Imagine if Meanwood were called Richard Bissitt, they'd be an outrage. Last season they were only three points off avoiding relegation and must surely be looking to come straight back up. Could prove to a very interesting team to face… Chances of winning the league: 6/1 Roque Jnrs Roque Jnrs are an unpredictable team that can beat anyone on their day. However, a lot of their success depends if Stuart (the referee) is playing for them. They can score goals but aren't exactly solid at the back. Roque Jnrs inconsistency makes them extremely difficult to predict. Roque Jnrs finished 4th last season and will be looking to improve. Last time Meanwood faced Roque Jnrs they won 11-8 and Roque Jnrs will be looking for revenge… Chances of winning the league: 6/1 Meanwood Meanwood will be looking to progress on their strong closing form where they won four out of the last six matches. They have become quite a defensive team but they also have the ability to score goals, which must surely prove a dangerous combination. However, they are no longer an unknown quantity and many teams will be seeking revenge against them. Meanwood finished fifth last season but joined the league almost half way through and were rooted to the bottom. It was a great achievement to climb their way up like they did and they must be looking to finish even higher this season. Chances of winning the league: 10/1 Other Predictions The Big Kahuna's will storm division 4 and get a back-to-back promotion. Park Lane will finish mid-table in division 4.
